Academy goalkeeper Mitch Bright has made his debut for the Australian U16 team in the PacificAus Sports Tour. Mitch has started in Australia's 1-0 win against Fiji U19 team and a 5-2 win over the Soloman Islands U19 Team. The former Academy goalkeeper is now part of the Football Queensland QST Program under the guidance of FQ Head of Goalkeeping Dale Hill.

January 10. 2026 - Jack Warshawsky Melbourne Victory FC Former Academy goalkeeper Jack Warshawsky made his A- League debut for Melbourne Victory. Jack started his goalkeeping journey as an 11 year old in our Sunshine Coast Academy program for 5 years before moving onto A-League clubs Western Sydney Wanderers FC, Central Coast Mariners and last year Melbourne Victory FC. January 2025 - Two former Academy goalkeepers Nick Campbell and (U14) and Corin Driver (U15) made their debut for Lions FC over the weekend playing some pre-season games. The boys have relocated to Brisbane after being selected by Lions to play in the FQA League 1.

December 2024 - Alexa Holroyd has been selected to attend a Junior Matildas Training Camp in Melbourne. Alexa who is in her 4th year with the Academy was identified after her performances at the Football Australia National Youth Championships earlier in the year with the Queensland U15 Team.
