ACADEMY KEEPER JOSH WALL INVITED TO AUSTRALIAN U17 TRAINING CAMP

Academy Goalkeeper Josh Wall has been selected to attend an Australian U17 Training Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport from June 16 -19 in Canberra.

Josh 16 who has been with the Academy for the past 4 years will looking to impress National Joeys coach Tony Vidmar and goalkeeping coach Fernando Alves in an attempt to gain selection in the Australian Squad which has qualified for this years FIFA U17 World Cup Finals being held in Chile later this year.

Josh has spent most of this season travelling to Brisbane each week training with the Brisbane Roar Youth team after impressing in performances with his club team the Sunshine Coast Fire U16 Team.

If selected Josh will join an elite list of Goalkeeping Australia Academy goalkeepers who have been selected in Australian National Youth teams including Mitch Langerak, Jerrad Tyson, Jordan Thurtell, Teagan Micah, Andre Jannese and Kate Stewart.
