TEAGAN MICAH IN YOUNG MATILDAS TEAM

Academy goalkeeper Teagan Micah has been selected in the Australian U20 Womens team to contest the AFF (Asian Football Federation) Championships in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam from May 1st to May 10th.

The Young Matildas an U20 Team will compete in the 8 nation tournament as the only under age team with all the other competing nations fielding their senior women’s teams.

The Young Matildas are in Group A with Thailand, Laos and Indonesia with Group B consisting of Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Teagan currently with the Brisbane Roar will compete in her 3rd National team already representing Australia at U13 and U17 level.

Over the past month Teagan has been training with our Senior Academy squad on the Sunshine Coast preparing for this International tournament and is looking in great shape.
