Wide Bay squad keeper, Sam Whatman, has officially signed with Aldershot Town FC in England. Sam has signed on for a 2 year football and education scholarship where he will play for the team’s U/19 side.
During his recent trials in Germany and England, Sam was given the opportunity to train with the Wolverhampton Wanderers' first team. After playing in some trial matches, Aldershot (who compete in the English National League) made an offer.
Everyone in the Wide Bay squad are very proud of Sam’s achievements and wish him all the best at his new club.
