Academy Goalkeepers from the Goalkeeping Australia Wide Bay Squad were involved in the representative Intercity Cup Carnival over the weekend in Bundaberg. Representative teams from Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, Gladstone and Rockhampton in U12 up to U16 age groups competed.
The reagional intercity competition is used to identify players for Queensland Country Squads as well as Wide Bay Represenntative Teams which will compete later in the year at the NPL Club Championships.
In action for the Bundaberg Representative teams were Hunter Gesch - U12, James Benjamin, Ethan Elsmore and Hein Kuyler U13 and Jacob Moreny U14. All the boys played extremly well over the weekend.
